Thank you for reading the news about Zamalek midfielder tests positive for COVID-19 once again and now with the details
Dubai – Yasmine El Tohamy – Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Ashraf Rouka has tested positive for COVID-19 once again despite testing negative just yesterday.
Rouka has become an integral part of the Zamalek squad after returning back from his loan spells at ENPPI and El-Gaish.
He played the full 90 minutes of the Whites’ games against Smouha and ENPPI, replacing Ferjani Sassi, before testing positive for COVID-19.
This caused him to miss Zamalek’s 3-0 win over Tala’a El-Gaish and their narrow victory over Al Masry.
Zamalek team doctor Mohamed Osama has then stated the player’s latest COVID-19 test returned a negative result, however, just a day later it turned positive again.
Rouka will have now to remain patient until he returns back to full training sessions and will probably miss the Whites’ upcoming game against El-Gouna.
Since joining Zamalek from El-Gaish in August 2017, Rouka has made only 17 appearances for the Whites, scoring five goals as he was sent out on loan to both ENPPI and El-Gaish.
