Thank you for reading the news about Zamalek, Aswan share spoils in goalless league draw and now with the details
Dubai – Yasmine El Tohamy – Zamalek have played out a goalless draw against Aswan in the Egyptian Premier League’s eighth round on Saturday.
The Whites were handed a boost heading into the game with star forward Mostafa Mohamed making his first start for the club since his transfer saga began.
Mohamed made instant impact on his return to the starting lineup as he found the back of the net just three minutes into the game.
However, Zamalek were denied the early lead following VAR consultation for a foul on Emam Ashour in the build-up to the goal.

Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh nearly scored for Zamalek in the 11th minute of the game but his header went inches wide.
The 25-year-old centre-back had another attempt at goal seven minutes later, but this time, his header hit the post.
Zamalek continued to mount pressure on Aswan in the first half and created plenty of chances but still failed to find the breakthrough.
Head coach Jaime Pacheco brought on reinforcements in veteran winger, Shikabala, and youngster Osama Faisal, as he looked to bolster his attack late in the second half.
However, a resolute Aswan side still managed to hold on to a draw and earn a vital point as they narrowly escaped the relegation zone.
Zamalek, on the other hand, are now level on points with arch-rivals Al Ahly once again at the top of the Egyptian Premier League table.
