Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7, the first edition of the Renace International Folk Festival begins, which will be held virtually and will run until October 11. Musicians, poets, painters, dancers, troubadours, and folk groups will participate representing their respective countries. There will be workshops, talks, talks, demonstrations and artistic presentations.
Cuba will have as its flag the XX Anniversary Set. Colombia will be represented with the groups Quero Tambó, Sueños Folklóricos and Fundación Almeydanza. Chile will feature the Folkloric Ballet Expresión Maulina , Leonardo González (musician) and the dancer Adrián Rojas. While Ballet Kincunamaka and Los Negros de la Magdalena will present the folklore of Ecuador .
On the other hand, Honduras will be represented by the singer Javier Monthiel, the poets David Fortín and Luis Velásquez Reyes, the dancer Dwayne Castellanos, the painter Joshua Aldana, the musicians Ana Garay and Jorge Ríos, the actor Leo Castro and the groups Yat Balam and Master Screening Esmeralda Colibrí.
