Three snowmobilers rescued in extremis by the SQ in the middle of a storm

The misadventure of three snowmobilers lost in the middle of a storm would have been able to turn the drama on the zec Onatchiway in the night of Monday to Tuesday. The three men were rescued in extremis by the SQ after having spent several hours in the forest.

The three men Alma had gone to the edge of a single snowmobile on a Monday morning to go get a snowmobile crash at kilometer 73 of the zec Onatchiway. In the evening, the family had had no news of the three individuals contacted the Sûreté du Québec.

“The disappearance has been reported at 21: 10. The police went to the track with snowmobiles. The three men have been located by police officers on snowmobiles around 4 a.m. in the night of Monday to Tuesday.

“They were mired up to several kilometers in the forest. They were lucky to be found. It was time that one of the traces. They were suffering from hypothermia and frostbite.”

The three men were brought on board the snowmobiles of the SQ before being transferred to paramedics who were waiting at a meeting point. They were transported to the hospital. They should not retain any physical after-effects of the events.
