On Wednesday evening, the big guessing went into the very last round: In the final of the second season of “The Masked Singer Switzerland”, which was broadcast live on TV, the last mask fell. The mammoth emerged victorious after six episodes and under the costume there was none other than musician Ritschi (42).

The former plush singer is happy about his victory: “It was so exhausting that I thought I could win now. But let's be honest: In the end, everyone deserved it, and everyone could have been – including those who were out before the final. So I'm happy, I'm happy. ” The mammoth was his favorite mask and he wouldn't have wanted another one.

190 working hours and original tartan skirt

Immediately after the final broadcast, Ritschi posted a video on his Instagram account showing his elaborate transformation. This would not have been possible without help, which is why he is also sending words of thanks to his team by mail. He also reveals: “Not even my children knew what I had been doing for the past six weeks. And yes, I even glared at my parents. But it was worth it – fun and a ride in hell at the same time. »

A total of around 3000 rivets and gemstones were used in the costume and mask of the mammoth, the tartan skirt is an original from Edinburgh. And it took a total of 190 working hours to complete. The masks of “The Masked Singer Switzerland” all come from the studio of the German art and theater scholar Hazy Hartlieb.
