The rap world is currently mourning Slim 400. According to “Tmz”, the 33-year-old was shot in Los Angeles County. On Wednesday evening, the rapper was involved in a shootout for reasons that have not yet been clarified. Law enforcement says it is currently not clear how many suspects were involved in the crime. Vincent Cohran, as his real name is called, was already involved in a shootout in 2019 – and ended up injured in the intensive care unit.

On June 21, 1988 Slim 400 was born in Frankfurt am Main, the son of a US military man. However, he spent his childhood in the metropolis of Compton in the USA. He started music at the age of twelve and signed his first recording deal at the age of twenty. Cohran has always been an avowed member of the “Bloods” gang. The group controls parts of the illicit drug market in Los Angeles.

The ambitious musician had published a new track just a few hours before his death, which he advertised on the social media platform Instagram. But now there are mourning messages and condolences to be found under the post. There is also a tiktoker among the mourners: The Californian Madzilla writes: “You were always so relaxed and down-to-earth. My prayers to your friends and family ».
