Man from Levis accused of sexual assault on a child

A Levis resident is accused of sexual assault on a minor victim. He would have entered the little girl’s room overnight.
The 29 year old man, Patrick Roy, also faces charges of sexual contact.

The event that led to Roy’s arrest by the City of Lévis Police Service occurred on January 2. The day before, the man had been invited to friends, and during the night he entered the girl’s room to assault her sexually.

The child alerted his mother and another man, who is not his father, early in the morning. Roy was then kicked out of the house.

On January 7, investigators went to the suspect’s residence and arrested him. Then on January 9, Roy appeared at the Quebec courthouse.

A parallel investigation is still underway, it is possible that other charges may be laid against the suspect in the file.
