Last Guardian developer Shadow of the Colossus teases the upcoming game
GenDesign, the studio is made up of developers who have previously worked on successful games like EcoAnd shadow of the Colossusومؤخرا The last guardHe started showing what he’s working on next. While there isn’t much to see about this mysterious project yet, a new image of the game was recently revealed.
More on the official GenDesign site, The studio updated the site’s homepage to display a new greeting wishing fans good luck in 2021. However, the webpage itself also contains an image that contains four of the studio’s games he made. The three addresses mentioned above at EcoAnd shadow of the Colossusو و The last guard It appeared in the photo, with Game 4 clearly featured as the studio’s latest project.
As for what one can make out of this picture from the new puzzle game, well, there’s not much to see. In terms of aesthetics, it appears to be very much in keeping with what GenDesign has worked on in the past and features a vibrant color palette. We can also see a character who appears to be wearing some kind of trench coat standing next to what would otherwise be a rock. Water and grass also surround this character.
While GenDesign has not yet officially revealed what this new title is, we do know some basic details about it. Work on the project could have started as early as 2018. Last year it was also announced Epic Games will fund game development. GenDesign retains full control and ownership of the same intellectual property while profits are split 50/50 between the parties.
It is not clear exactly when the latest GenDesign game will arrive, but based on this deal with Epic, it is expected to hit a variety of platforms. Although all of its games were previously released for PlayStation platforms only, it now appears that Xbox and PC players will be able to participate in the event in the future.
Hopefully, this first game from GenDesign to start the year means the studio is looking forward to sharing more about the game in 2021. If that happens, we’ll obviously let you know. Here on ComicBook.com.
