Injured, Kim Boutin must give up competition
Kim Boutin will not participate in the very first Championships of the four continents presented in Montreal next weekend. Injured, she will be replaced on the Canadian team by Danaé Blais.

Danaé Blais, from Châteauguay, is in her second season at the World Cup. The 20-year-old competed in each of the four stages of the World Cup this season. She notably helped the Canadian relay to win four medals, including one gold.
These Championships from the four continents are a first. This major competition will bring together the best short track speed skaters from North America, South America, Asia and Oceania from January 10 to 12.
