“I am considering the reimbursement in this matter. It is a custodial sentence, but in the community. You must meet all of the conditions or you will be serving this sentence in a detention facility, “said Justice Dunnigan.

She pleaded guilty to the charges that between December 14, 2015 and September 30, 2017, she defrauded the Canadian Tire by more than $ 5,000 and that between October 1, 2017 and December 1, 2017, she privately owned the same business less than $ 5,000.

Carole Leblanc will have to stay inside her residence until May. For the rest of the sentence, she must respect a curfew.

He was banned from going to all Canadian Tire stores in the area by the court.

The sentence was imposed following a joint suggestion by defense lawyer Me Michel Dussault and the prosecuting attorney Me Louis Fouquet.
