“If we loved each other” postponed to winter

The new docu-reality “If we loved each other”, which was announced for the fall at TVA, will finally be released next winter. The broadcaster made this decision last week, after announcing for September this novelty driven by Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge and Émily Bégin. “If we loved each other” had to hold the antenna from Monday to Wednesday at 19:30.
The production, whose filming was begun in June, would it have been unsatisfactory in the eyes of the big bosses? At the launch of the morning’s programming, TVA Group’s Senior Channel and Programming Director, Suzane Landry, explained that this new concept had potential that deserved more time. “Why jostling to present it in the fall, when we had programming ready?” Asks Landry.

Indeed, the comedy Boomerang had been pushed back to winter to make room for If we loved each other . We simply decided to present the fifth season this fall on Monday at 19:30. On Tuesday, TVA sends the second season of La dérape , a series shot in Quebec City, which it premiered last winter, while the new season of LOL is scheduled on Wednesday, rather than Sunday.
