A human skeleton was found in their adopted home of Montecito, where they moved with their son Archie (2) last year.

That's what

  • Prince Harry (37) and Duchess met in Montecito, California Meghan (40) bought a villa around 18 months ago.

  • According to several media reports, it cost the equivalent of around 14 million francs.

  • According to an insider, they are not really happy, as «The Mirror» reports.

  • The duke couple is said to have already started looking for a new property.

In Great Britain they lived in Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace, followed by the luxurious Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. Shortly thereafter, they resigned as senior royals of the British royal family and moved to Canada. There they lived in a CHF 13 million estate on Vancouver Island before settling down in the Californian suburb of Montecito almost 18 months ago. Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) don't seem to like it that much in their approximately 14 million franc villa in the posh district of “Riven Rock”.

As the British “Mirror” reported, citing an insider, the duke couple should be “not overjoyed” about their property with five hectares of land, nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, pool, tennis court and rose gardens. The Sussexes are planning to raise their two children Archie (2) and Lilibet in a new house – especially because the current one has some shortcomings. The two are said to be looking for a new home and have already started to inquire about another property. They are open to private offers, it is said.

Only selected people as buyers

“They are thinking of selling their house, but it won't officially be on the market – because they are,” the unnamed insider told the British newspaper. “It is only shown to people who have the necessary resources and are seriously interested in buying.”

Meghan and Harry bought the villa in June 2020 for the equivalent of 14 million francs from the Russian oligarch and billionaire Sergey Grishin (55). Her neighbors currently include Oprah Winfrey (67) and Ellen DeGeneres (63) – and this should stay that way with the new property in the future.

«They want to stay in the neighborhood or nearby. But they are not enthusiastic about the house and the location, ”the source revealed.
