Puerto Rican Gary Browne and Italy's Trento club have gotten off to a good start in EuroCup action by winning their first two games.
And the base of the National Team has made itself felt at this start of the campaign in the second category club league in Europe, behind the Euroleague.
Browne has 25 points, 16 assists and nine rebounds to help his team occupy the first position in Group D with a 2-0 record.
In the first 93-86 win over Turkey's Bursaspor, Browne shone with a double-double, recording 17 points with 10 assists, while adding five rebounds in 29 minutes. He shot 9-7 from the free throw line.
And last Tuesday, the Puerto Rican played 21 minutes and accumulated eight points with six assists in an easy 78-51 win against Promitheas Patras of Greece.
But in the Italian competition, the story has been different for Trento, losing their first two games. Browne, however, is off to a solid start with averages of 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 32.5 minutes per game.
This is Browne's first experience in Italy and his fourth season in European basketball. He previously played two seasons in Israel and one in Turkey.
