Dozens of vehicles vandalized by revelers in Montcalm
Forty cars were vandalized in the night from Saturday to Sunday in Quebec, in the Montcalm district. The Quebec police suspect that the wrongdoings were committed outside bars.
The vehicles in question were all parked on René-Lévesque Boulevard West, between Cartier and Moncton streets.
“The person (s) who did this passed all the way down the street. It started with blows on the rear view mirrors, the more it progressed and the more violent it was, ”specifies the lieutenant of the Service de police de la Ville de Québec (SPVQ), Éric Aubé.
The agent also indicates that it is about a crime of occasion, the authors would be party animals. The event has nothing to do with the graffiti in Saint-Sauveur according to lieutenant Aubé, these crimes were committed the night of Friday on several vehicles and residences.

A person would have noticed the broken cars on René-Lévesque Sunday morning, around 9 a.m. The police had no reports during the night. The various owners have been contacted and several complaints have been filed.
The Quebec police are gathering the evidence and an investigation is underway, there are apparently no suspects yet.
