At 90 years old and with the Hollywood industry paralyzed by the coronavirus pandemic, Clint Eastwood is preparing to direct and star in his next film project: “Cry Macho”, from a script on which Arnold Schwarzenegger has already worked.
The story of “Cry Macho” tells the journey of an old rodeo star who helps a young man who runs away from his alcoholic family so that he can enter Texas from Mexico, indicated an exclusive from the specialized newspaper Deadline, which advanced the project based on a novel written by N. Richard Nash in 1975.
What is striking is that it is not the first attempt to adapt the story to the big screen, as The New York Times newspaper stated in 2011 that Arnold Schwarzenegger would shoot this film after finishing his term as governor of California, although the project was never completed. .
In 1991 there was another attempt headed by Roy Scheider that did not prosper either.
