The cohorts PRO Action are initiated

The SADC de Nicolet-Bécancour, in collaboration with the Alcoa Foundation and the regional board of Services Québec Centre-du-Québec, has announced the creation of two cohorts comprised of businesses and municipalities that benefit from a personalised support in sustainable development until June 2019. The programme to support PRO Action the SADC de Nicolet-Bécancour is designed to support business owners and municipal governments (elected officials and general managers) in the development of strategic actions in sustainable development. The participants have already taken part in the first training on introduction to sustainable development and strategic diagnosis, which took place on 17 and 18 January last.

The program PRO Action offers training, workshops and exchanges between participants and support for the realization of a strategic diagnosis of sustainable development aimed at identifying the priority issues for each participating organisation. A cover postdiagnostic is also available, to identify opportunities for value creation and to validate the actions that are most strategic to implement in order to reduce costs, increase revenue, reduce environmental impacts and maximize social benefits.

Through its program PRO Action, the SADC also offers conferences in sustainable development, thanks to the collaboration of the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Heart-du-Québec and Hydro-Québec. These conferences are offered to all businesses, organizations and municipalities in the territory of Nicolet-Bécancour.

The next conference will take place on April 23 (dinner at the Hotel Montfort) in the framework of the Earth Day, When the businesses of tomorrow are changing the world – trends in DD and innovations in the business, presented by NOVAE.
