Bryan Adams at the Cogeco Amphitheater
Bryan Adams will stop at Trois-Rivières this summer. The Canadian singer announces on his website that he will be performing at the Cogeco Amphitheater on August 19 as part of his Shine a Light tour.
The 60-year-old singer and guitarist enjoys an international career that has taken him to many countries and has enabled him to sell several tens of millions of albums. This career, which began with the release of a first album in 1980, has exploded since the arrival in 1983 of his third album Cuts like a knife and especially thanks to the publication in 1984 of the album Reckless. With the amount of success gathered on this single record (Somebody, Run to you, Heaven, It’s only love, Summer of ’69), many song artists would be happy to bet on so many popular songs throughout their careers.
The Shine a Light tour follows the launch in 2019 of the artist’s 14th studio album. According to the list of songs from a concert offered in Peru in October 2019, Adams performs, among other things, the title song of his most recent album, a song co-written with Ed Sheeran, but leaves a lot of room for his great successes. (Everything I do) I do it for you, 1992 Grammy winner in the category of best song written for a film (Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves), was part of the list of songs performed by Adams, at same title as Cuts like a knife and Straight from the heart (from the album Cuts like a knife) and the five aforementioned songs from the album Reckless.
Tickets for this show go on sale Friday, January 24. A presale will take place on Thursday January 23 at 10 a.m. As indicated on the artist’s website, the code to access this presale is Bryan.
