Olympic tenimist Brian Afanador announced on Saturday the sex of the baby she is expecting with her partner Noralis Soé Lugo.
In an emotional video shared on his social networks, Afanador revealed that the creature will be a girl.
“It's a … Eager to have you with me to hug you, kiss you, take care of you, educate you and guide you the rest of our lives,” Afanador wrote.
On August 28, Afanador informed Lugo that they will be parents with a series of black and white photos. At that time, Lugo was six months pregnant.
The athlete is training in isolation in his town of Utuado while waiting for the reactivation of the International Table Tennis Federation tournaments.
As soon as the table tennis day resumes, Afanador has an appointment with the Olympic qualification for Tokyo 2021, the Individual and Team Table Tennis World Cup.
Afanador last played in the Pan-American Cup held at the Mario “Quijote” Morales Coliseum at the end of last February.
