Beauty and the Beasts

Walking through the bookstore, a book catches our eye. The novel “Exquisite corpse” by Agustina Bazterrica, published by Flammarion. The tale of a dystopian world from which animals disappeared. And that we replaced in the plate thanks to the industrial reproduction of humans intended for food consumption.

Not jojo.
C is rather the cover that holds our attention: the mix of portraits of women and animals, arranged so that their eyes are aligned. A pretty idea that can be admired.

Surprise, it is the Hungarian photographer Flóra Borsi – who we presented to you right here in September – who signs this concept!

Don’t let repetition detract from our enjoyment: here are new works by Ms. Borsi, self-portraits from her Animeyed collection . We just love it.
